Friday night was our Ladies' Night Out at church. We had a great turnout and such yummy food! The theme was "Living In Contentment". Our preacher's wife, Emily, was our speaker and she did a FANTASTIC job! I was asked to paint the backdrop for the event. The picture above is my handiwork. I guess this is one of the talents God gave me so I'm happy to use it when needed.
It was such a nice time to spend with wonderful Christian ladies, many of whom are my closest friends and confidants...
Also, Sunday afternoon, our church gave Kasey a baby shower. This is her and Derek's first baby and she is now loaded up! We attend such a generous congregation! I gave her a little outfit for the baby boy coming and also made a scrapbook/picture page for the nursery. I matched the bedding as close as I could. Here is a pic:
