more "wee" time

My parents dropped my grandmother off at her house on Friday after a few days at the mountains and I guess couldn't stand to be away from Charlie any longer so they came to our house that afternoon. They stayed the weekend and got plenty of "wee and Charlie time" in. As I mentioned in a previous post, Charlie won't let my dad out of his sight. It was lots of playing in Charlie's room and lots of walking and riding outside. He walked Grandma a good bit too!We went to the Taste of Kennesaw Saturday around lunch and walked around a while. There wasn't much to do other than eat so we grabbed a bite and found some shade. We all ate BBQ sandwiches and Daniel and I had these humongous cups of sweet tea. But we got them for 2 bucks each and that was some good sweet tea!

Charlie got to spend some time on the playground. We didn't want to pay for a ticket for him to go on an inflatable thingy that we knew he wouldn't get near. He had a blast on the playground! I got him to walk up to the big spiral slide and he just sat down and slid down on his own. I was expecting to have to go with him. Grandpa showed him how to climb the "rock" wall and then showed him how to climb the rope wall. It only took showing him once and Charlie was climbing both by himself. Here are pics...

Saturday afternoon and Saturday night we went shopping for my birthday present from my parents. I still can't believe they did that for me and Daniel. I'll share more info and pics when it is delivered. (There's you a hint!) I'm so excited to get it! :D

(By the way, if any of you want to get me a present as well...my birthday is Monday!)
