MMO update

Charlie is doing well at Mother's Morning Out. He gets so excited when you talk about going to school and points to his hand where he normally gets a stamp. Today, when I dropped him off at MMO, he didn't even cry when they got him out of his car seat. I said "bye Charlie" and he just waved at me. Again, it was a bittersweet moment for me.

I usually go visit my friend, Emily, on Wednesdays but today I decided to take some time for me. Plus, Charlie has just gotten over a virus or something that caused a fever for a couple of days so I really didn't want to risk taking that into the hospital or even into her room. I'll wait a couple more days and then visit. I ran a couple of errands and came home. It was nice to have some time like that but I looked for Charlie in his bed every time I walked past his room. I was hoping to just take some time to relax but I ended up doing a little vacuuming and some laundry.

Every time I pick Charlie up from MMO, he hands me his bag and immediately shows me the stamp on his hand. I found out today that they only get a butterfly stamp if they have a good day. Charlie has come home every time with a butterfly stamp. I tried to get Charlie to show me his stamp so I could take a picture. Below is what I got. So, I just held his hand to get a close-up. I just felt this was a blogworthy moment. I'm sure it will make it to the scrapbook as well. :)

Glad that Charlie is doing well at Mothers Morning Out! I dread taking Anderson next year! Cute, cute pics of him looking at the stamp on his hand!
