A Final Farewell...

May 19, 2013 - The members of our congregation at Piedmont Rd. threw us a surprise going-away party.  I had asked everyone not to make a big fuss about the move as I knew my emotional state at that point but they just couldn't let us go without telling us how much they loved us and will miss us.  I shed many tears but definitely felt loved.  Some sweet words were said and funny stories were told.

And...there was chocolate...

Ms. Barbara gave the boys each a special gift that night.  She said since she couldn't give them suckers each Sunday anymore that she would make up for it in advance...
