38 weeks

My 38 week OB appt was yesterday. Not much to report. Still holding at 2-3 cm dilated and around 70% effaced. So, baby Philip must have found a comfortable spot this week. His heartrate was around 140. My BP was good. We're just waiting on Philip to make his debut.

I've been feeling good this week with much more energy. I'm still ready for this baby to come but have been able to get some things done around the house and in the baby's room. I'm still painting...I don't think it's ever going to end! The walls are done. I've been finishing up the little things like the big truck on the wall, letters, etc. Maybe one of these days I'll get it to the point that I can post pics. I have managed to get all the baby clothes washed and put away though.

I've also been trying to keep the house somewhat clean so that I'm not completely mortified at the thought of family staying at my house while we're in the hospital. However, scrubbing bathrooms is not my idea of fun especially at 38 weeks pregnant!

So...with bags packed...we're just waiting...
