Doc appt. was on Monday. These posts are really more for me so if you're tired of seeing them...tough! :) The belly measured right on track. Heartrate of the baby was good. Doc didn't tell me a specific number this time and I didn't think to ask. BP - good. Weight - 161 so I gained 5 pounds. I think I ate too many sweets while we were at the beach last week! Not to mention all the great meals we had at night! I've been recuperating this week from the vacation. I didn't realize how much it took out of me until I got home.
Painting in the nursery begins today. Daniel's parents are coming for the weekend to help with the painting as well since I can't get in there and do it. That is killing me! It was the same with paiting Charlie's room. All I could do was sit and watch. I have gotten in the room and begun taping the baseboards, doors, window, etc. so atleast I've done something in there. My time will be spent taping off stripes tomorrow! I'm not looking forward to it but it's going to look great! My parents are planning on coming up the weekend of the 4th to finish out the room. I'm thankful for the help because I really didn't want to put it all on Daniel. He's done so much for me already.
The belly continues to get heavy and that brings more aches and pains. I'm still sleeping ok most nights. Heartburn takes its toll many nights and keeps me up. I did have a night where I had to wake Daniel up to help me roll over. It was just too painful for me to do it by myself. :\ But, I'm proud to say that I can atleast get out of the bed without any help. I won't say it's easy, just possible!
The comments this week have been along the lines of "I bet you're ready to have this baby, aren't you?" My answer has been "I'm getting there."
