Just an update...I had another OB visit last Thursday. Everything checked out well. Gained a pound. BP was good. Baby's heartrate was around 145. I was happy there was no finger stick for blood this time. I saw a different doctor from this practice and liked her much better than the one I had been seeing.
The furniture in the baby's room was moved out on Saturday. Thanks Uncle Bob and Glyn! I know that was a chore for you. The bedding arrived, so now, it's on to painting. I don't know when we'll get to it but I'm anxious to get it done. The inlaws have offered to come and paint so my goal is to get it primed and get the white paint done before they arrive with paintbrushes in hand. There are stripes on the agenda so my days will soon be filled with that lovely blue painters' tape. The new furniture should arrive in the next couple of weeks.
I've started getting more comments along the lines of "are you counting the days?" and "are you ready for this baby to be here already?". It's making me panic. Maybe because I've got lots to get done before he arrives. Or maybe I'm panicking over the thought of having two to take care of. Or maybe it's just hormones. Either way...I'm panicking. I mean, it's June! This baby is due NEXT MONTH! *big breath* It will all be great once he's here. I think as I get the room ready and get clothes in the closet, etc. that the excitement will overtake the panic and all will be good.
We've decided on a name. I'm going to try and get Charlie to reveal it for you so it may take a little while before I get him to cooperate so just be patient. Or, if you just can't wait, call me and I'll tell you. :)
