mr. chatty

I picked Charlie up from MMO today and his teacher told me that he has become quite chatty in class lately. She said he knows all his classmates by name and just talks to them all the time. You can't imagine how thankful I was to hear this...for two reasons. One, he's broadening his world of people. Two, Daniel and I made the right choice in postponing any speech therapy. We figured he would develop quickly in this regard if he was around more people and it seems to be working. This was our alternative to him only being with one person teaching him how to talk. I really wanted it to come when he was ready. I didn't want to force the issue. I mean...come on...he's two! All of this makes me long to be in his classroom each time even more though. I think I'm gonna have to sneak in soon!
