crawling!

For the last month or so, Charlie has perfected his crawl. He has spent so many months sliding around the house on his belly. Once he figured out he had to use his knees to go from belly to standing, it was only a matter of time. My floors aren't as clean :) but his clothes don't get a big dirt stain on his belly anymore. Yeah! He has ruined many shirts this way. He still slides around some but prefers the knees now. I finally got a video of him crawling where he didn't immediately go for the camera.

I've been slacking on my blogging. I have no excuses. Nothing real exciting happening around here. Daniel and I have been brainstorming for the last week or so. We had a youth committee meeting this past Sunday to plan out some activities for the youth group and the little kids. Daniel is the deacon in charge of youth so he leads the meetings which puts a little more responsibility on both of us as far as the committee goes. We've added two new couples to the group and they had lots of new ideas, which were nice. Now, if we can just get the kids to come! If any of you have ideas that have worked for your youth groups in the past, please pass them along! We're trying right now just to get them together so that they can get to know each other better. None of our kids go to the same school so they only see each other at church. This causes many problems as you can probably guess.

We are heading to TN to visit my grandmother this weekend. We haven't been up there in a while so I'm sure she is anxious to see us, especially Charlie. We were in AL two weekends ago visiting parents/grandparents and siblings. We always enjoy going "home". Here are some pictures from that trip:

That is so funny! I would love to see it! And, yes, we are getting old...turning 30 this year is depressing. I can't imagine what 40 will feel like.
