Wow! My first post. How exciting! This blogspot is for my friends and family. I hope to keep it somewhat up to date with postings and pictures but with a new baby on the way...you just never know what's going to happen next.
I've been teaching the teen girls' class at church so I hope to post some of my lessons for anyone interested in reading them. They are nothing special but it has been a challenging experience for me since I've never done anything like that before. I love all my girls at Piedmont Road and I hope they feel the same way about me! Fortunately, I've got lots of future babysitters available! :)
Prenancy update: I am at 22 weeks and two days. I've got a nice belly on me so far. I guess I'm finally at the point that there's no doubt I'm pregnant because I've started getting more "oh, you look so cute!" comments and more people coming to rub my belly! I don't mind it though. I began feeling the baby move around Christmas. We've had three ultrasounds so far. One at 12 weeks, 19 weeks, and 20 weeks. (Thanks sister-in-law for the hook-up!) Every one of them has, without a doubt, shown this baby to be a boy! We're in the process of deciding on how to decorate the nursery. I think we have decided on airplanes so you know Daniel is excited about that! I found a cute bedding set at Babies-R-Us that will work perfect. If you want to get excited about the baby or any baby, just walk in Babies-R-Us. You just constantly walk through the store going "Awww..." We're also still deciding on a name...why did I buy the 50,001+ baby name book? I'm on the letter D! Maybe I'll get to S or T by May!
I am also in the process of trying to get my architecture registration exam taken. I'm hoping to finish it before the baby arrives. I've passed 5 so far. 4 to go! Wish me luck and pray for my sanity! My next test is on January 29th. General Structures - yuck! I'll let you know how it goes!

Wow, this will be a great way for me to keep up with what's going on in your life. Now we can stop all that cumbersome talking we're always doing. :)
Daniel is a funny guy........
Melissa, I don't think I will check this that often. I know enough about you from working with you! HAHA!
This is great! Can you post some funny and embarrassing pictures of Daniel for our entertainment?
Seriously, what a wonderful idea to let people keep in touch when it's convenient and be able to be a part of the baby arriving!
Thank you lady!
Love you guys!
Hi Melissa,
Thank-you for sharing.
I can tell from your bible study that you have really grown in your walk with Christ. God is so Good!
