Labor Day 2010

We spent the Labor Day weekend in Elba visiting family. This was Philip's first trip to AL. Daniel's grandmother was beside herself because she finally got to see Philip. She was our first stop of the weekend. She had recently hurt her arm so she wasn't feeling her best but you would have never known it once she got her hands on the little one. :)
That Friday night, our alma mater was having a home football game. My parents still get season tickets in the reserved section so we all went to the ballgame.
We knew Charlie would have a blast...and we were right! He cheered and yelled for those Elba Tigers! "Get 'um! Get 'um!" "Go! Go! Go!" When the bands performed at halftime, you would have thought he was a statue. He was mesmerized! We got the biggest kick out of watching him all night...

Philip spent the whole game napping through all the noise here...
Saturday was spent with Daniel's parents. His sister and nephew were able to come over to visit for a while. Charlie spent his day playing with Branson and riding the golf cart...
Sunday was spent at my parents house. Charlie didn't get in as much play time as he would have liked due to worship services and a nap but he made the most of the time he got. I think he wore Grandpa out climbing up steps and jumping off the porch!
My grandmother is staying with my parents right now and it just makes her day to get to hold Philip.
Monday was a crazy, busy time but we managed to make it home before midnight! :\
