playing at the park

We went to the park near our house a couple of weeks ago. (Sorry for just now posting about it.) Charlie can now go down the slides by himself. He still gets a little uneasy about it but for the most part he does well. This has also given him the confidence to climb his little slide at home and slide down it. The playground at this park is made for kids ages 2-5 so most of the access points Charlie can do. He found some steps that had a rail on each side that were just his height. He loved doing that. We just had to convince him he couldn't go back down them. There was usually a little kid following him up. He really wants to climb the rock wall but we'll work up to that one. He hasn't quite gotten the hang of climbing yet. He's getting there. He figured out how to climb into the big swing in our backyard and today he climbed up into one of our dining room chairs. Anyway, we had a great time at the park even though it was extremely crowded. Here are some pics...
